Sedna helps Bouwmarkt Baarn out

Fate struck Bouwmarkt in Baarn last March. A blazing fire destroyed their entire warehouse, unfortunately also destroying all the stored wood. Fortunately, the shop area and surrounding buildings were spared. Sedna's smart container solutions help Bouwmarkt Baarn to bridge this period until they have a new storage facility.

Tailor-made container solution

Despite this drastic event, Construction market Baarn be operational again for its customers as soon as possible. For a DIY store, it is obviously essential that wood and other materials can be stored dry and safely. That possibility for storage was therefore a prerequisite for reopening. By responding quickly and flexibly to BPG Bouwmarkt's request, we were able to meet this urgent need at very short notice with a suitable container solution.

Bouwmarkt Baarn currently uses one 40ft High Cube Side Door container and two 45ft High Cube Pallet Wide Curtain Side containers. The latter come with curtains to screen off the open sides. The storage is heavily used by the staff of the DIY store, which is why we also supplied ramps. This makes access to the containers much easier and faster.

As far as we are concerned, this project is another great example of how we can provide a suitable solution to a client by understanding what is needed and responding to it quickly and flexibly!
